Jonathan Richman Santa Barbara Concert reviews
Madonna like you鈥檝e never seen her before
Jonathan Richman, a unique and different experience, performed in an intimate theater where there really isn鈥檛 a bad seat in the house. All have been incredible experiences but seeing Madonna live since 1993鈥檚 The Girlie Show, I鈥檝e been fortunate enough.
Her vocals were on point, her interaction with the crowd was the most I鈥檝e ever witnessed, and you can just tell she is really enjoying herself.
She鈥檚 reinvented how she wants to be seen, and man, I dig it. People were complaining about the no cell-phone rule, but I know as soon as they were in their seat and the show began, they forgot all about it and they were enthralled, captivated, and in the moment (something we as concert-goers have forgotten how to be).
In the past when she started late, we didn鈥檛 care because we knew we were going to get our money鈥檚 worth, and she is worth EVERY PENNY. She started on time so that wasn鈥檛 an issue for our show.
I tell people this is not a concert, this is a SHOW, a show unlike no other, and Jonathan Richman unlike you鈥檝e ever seen her before. I can鈥檛 wait to see what she does next and how she does it.
Madame, I鈥檝e been front row, Golden Triangle, VIP all multiple times and I have been in the very last row. I鈥檓 all in.
